DEVDAS MUSICAL

This Broadway styled musical extravaganza is based on a novella by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay, probably one of the famous love sagas in Indian Literature.

Devdas – The Musical’ is a poignant and enthralling musical adaptation that conveys the vicissitudes of star-crossed lovers Devdas & Paro that boasts vibrant colours, evocative lighting and special effects to recreate the opulence of India’s former capital, Calcutta during the early 1900s. This amazing musical is an immersive experience that incorporates mesmerizing original songs woven along with sensational choreography and marvellous gravity-defying aerial displays on sets of unparalleled grandeur.

The set has been designed by National Award winner and Mary Kom’s director Omung Kumar. The songs have been performed by prominent Bollywood singers including Shaan, Kailash Kher, Alka Yagnik, Suresh Wadkar, Bhumi Trivedi, Shail Hada, Deepali Sathe & Antara Mitra. The poignant music is brought to life by Shampa Sonthalia’s graceful choreography, featuring a fusion of Indian classic and contemporary dance styles.

2 to Tango, 3 to Jive

Written and performed by National award winner Saurabh Shukla, ‘2 To Tango, 3 To Jive‘ shows Parminder’s journey as it ebbs and flows with practical, comical, ambivalent, confusing and passionate tides. Produced by Ashvin Gidwani this comedy play has amassed numerous accolades. Power-packed with innumerable blissful one-liners at every turn & outstanding performance the show is a must-watch for theatre and non-theatre lovers alike. 

Blame it on Yashraj

Blame it on Yashraj is a hilarious portrayal of a family caught up in the whirlwind of their daughter’s wedding. The scenes and emotions in the play have a Bollywood style to them with an ensemble cast of well-known stage and TV artistes like Jayati Bhatia, Ananth Mahadevan & Gaurav Sharma. Directed by Bharat Dabholkar and the show has completed over 150 houseful shows garnering rave reviews from all over the globe!

Mirror Mirror

Mirror-Mirror is Theatre debut for Indian actress Minissha Lamba. It explores the psyche of the troubled twin who could not bring herself to live with her sister. This play maps the life of an identical twin Minal and her hatred towards her twin Maanya. The story begins with her narrating the events that shape up her life. As Maanya is favoured more by her parents, Minal never really identifies with her sister and sees her as an enemy. This seemingly biased behaviour make her detest her sister with a vengeance that ends up destroying both their lives. In a tremendous solo performance, Minissha Lamba portrays 13 different characters including 4-year-old twins.

Good Mourning

AGP World’s Good Mourning is an entertaining and joyful play on a very serious topic of our society. When a quirky group gathers to offer there condolences & consolation, the heady mix of grief and alcohol brings about suspicion and doubt. This is a dark comedy theatre play where emotions bubble, tempers flare, outrageous accusations are unabashedly hurled, and the true relationships between the mourners and the deceased are examined and laid bare. Directed by Deven Khote and written by Kavi Shastri this one of a kind spectacle features Ryatasha Rathore, Anuradha Menon, Sohrab Ardeshir, Zafar Karachiwala, Aseem Hattangady, Omkar Kulkarni.
